Happy Tuesday! Maybe you're a fan of Finley shirts like me. For me, one of the great pleasures of sewing lies in the ability to adapt and incorporate favorite RTW clothing details while leaving behind what doesn't work. I bought a Finley shirt nearly 20 years ago not realizing it didn't fit me properly until I returned to fashion sewing. (excess fabric in the back) Finley's 'Rocky' shirt inspired me to reach for a favorite shirt pattern and give it an update. Greetings Dear Readers! It's always a little strange to see myself on video...

Greeting Dear Readers! I've learned through the past few months that multitasking is not my forte´. As I so excitedly announced, Julie Starr and I signed a contract for a second book which required my immediate and devoted attention to receive a 2019 publishing date. We turned in our final package December 5, and then it was Christmas. Hello and Happy New Year! These pics taken on December 4, are from our last photo shoot, and we're on the charming cobblestone street, South Adgers Wharf, in Charleston, SC. The shirt is a favorite pattern, the Sewaholic Granville Shirt, and the self-drafted pencil skirt is...
