19 Feb Finley Inspired Shirt

Happy Tuesday! Maybe you're a fan of Finley shirts like me. For me, one of the great pleasures of sewing lies in the ability to adapt and incorporate favorite RTW clothing details while leaving behind what doesn't work. I bought a Finley shirt nearly 20 years ago not realizing it didn't fit me properly until I returned to fashion sewing. 16 Jan New Look 6524

If you follow my Instagram feed, you may know I've been sewing this garment. Was I deprived of wearing shifts as a youth, you ask ? I don't know the answer, but do admit to sewing lots of shifts. 28 Dec Happy Holidays and a Pfaff Passport Giveaway!

Greeting Dear Readers! I've learned through the past few months that multitasking is not my forte´. As I so excitedly announced, Julie Starr and I signed a contract for a second book which  required my immediate and devoted attention to receive a 2019 publishing date.
