03 Jul Perfection Starts Here – My New Machine

I am elated to be a new Pfaff Ambassador :) I cannot think of another word that describes my joy to represent this outstanding company, and truly look forward to showcasing its state of the art machines. To familiarize me with the Pfaff products, I received the Pfaff Creative 4.5, a Sewing and Embroidery Machine introduced to the market in 2014. I am an absolute novice to embroidery. 01 Jul New Lilly Inspired Dress and Contest Winner!

Lilly Pulitzer introduced a fabulous collection of navy dresses this season, and I wanted one too. The Lilly dresses are available in every fabric imaginable bringing about many possibilities. 15 Jun Lilly P Knockoff Shorts

Six glorious beach days with Birdie - life gets no better! I was determined to perfect a pair of scalloped hem shorts before returning to the beach, and my inspiration came from many of the Lilly Pulitzer beach shorts. Many thanks to Margo Bergman from Creating in the Gap for introducing me to McCall's 6930, a flat front short with a scalloped hem option (View B). For optimal results I added a lining to the shorts for comfort and wrinkle reduction, and inserted an invisible zipper - eliminating the need for a hook & eye at the waistband. Rather than sewing the 3-piece waistband...

12 Jun Tunic x Nine !

Greetings! I'd like to introduce you to a reader who made my day. Meet Marion, a fellow tunic lover from Germany. Marion bought The Tunic Bible in February and has showcased our concept of one pattern unlimited possibilities so beautifully that I must share. After reading Marion's initial email, I requested photos of her tunics. She surprised me with not one or two or three….. but nine tunics she’s created this Spring using the master pattern! Let's look...
