Join Me In Honolulu!

10 Oct Join Me In Honolulu!

Hello Dear Readers,

We continue to work, write and sew as our deadline approaches, and what I miss most of all is communicating with you. Hopefully soon the book will be in the hands of the publisher.

Is it fun writing a book? Yes, when everything clicks the process is great fun, but the pressure is somewhat relentless at the moment.

Fortunately, I get to take a much needed break in exactly 4 weeks thanks to the
Hawaii Stitchery and Fibre Arts Guild!

Please join me for one or both of the events if you’re in the Honolulu area! The November 7th “Lecture” is actually a Trunk Show and presentation about my sewing, blogging and living creatively. The “Workshop” is a Tunic Bible Workshop.

Can you think of a better place to sew and wear tunics than HAWAII?😉

Knowing paradise awaits is all I need to pick up my pencil, pad and head back to the sewing room. I look forward to meeting Hawaiian Goodbye Valentino readers, RTW Fasters and anyone who’s up for an impromptu trip to Honolulu! Please contact Eileen Roether for more information.

Until soon🤞

    Wonderful to hear from you..
I was getting concerned that somehow I’d messed
up my connection, and gotten dropped from G.V..
Oh, tecnology.. Not my favorite thing.

I am glad you’ve enjoyed working on the book and I must say I eagerly await the details. Just envisioning the Hawaii workshop boosts my spirits. No doubt it will be a fabulous time for you and all those fortunate enough to attend!

That sounds like an amazing opportunity! Wish I could be there! I just finished my own challenge of sewing something I have made for the first 30 days of school (I am a middle school math and science teacher). So satisfying! I think I am ready for the 2019 RTW fast now 🙂

    Aloha!

I’ve been following your blog for years and participated in your RTW fast a few years back. As a resident of Honolulu, I’m happy to learn that you’ll be visiting Oahu. I’m planning on attending your Trunk Show and, hopefully, your Workshop.

As you may be aware, hotel workers are on strike at some of the hotels on Oahu and Maui. Naturally, everyone hopes it won’t drag on for another two+ weeks, but you may want to verify that your stay here won’t be impacted by it — just in case. If you would like a bit more of island insight, please feel free to contact me.

I look forward to meeting you.

I would ❤️ a new machine. My machine is on its last legs. The last repair cost more than what I paid back in 2000. for my machine. I came across your post two years ago. I hang on to every word. You inspire me sooo much. Congratulations on your book. I would love to take one of your classes. All the classes in my area are quilting. Happy new year!
