04 Jun It’s June Too Soon!
Dear Readers,
The conclusion of Me-Made-May ’13 was over four days ago, however, my Me-Made-May ’13 page fizzled out shortly after mid-month …….. hate it when that happens!
I diligently wore my Me-Made clothes all month long but taking pictures everyday was another story with conflicting schedules for hubby and me. I even bought a tripod and learned how hard I am to photograph 😉
I’m on vacation now which started with a girlfriend weekend on May 31st and segued into a week of family fun. Thankfully, I’ve had a little time to wrap up Me-Made-May ’13 and as I reviewed the month of May I realized I wore 25 Me-Made clothes during the month of May…… some way more than once!
Rather than update my page on the blog, I decided to make a video. I have NO idea why this skirt is the featured photo!
A thousand thanks to the talented (and pregnant!) Zoe of So Zo What do you know? for inspiring garment-sewing enthusiasts around the world to lovingly celebrate their creations. I hope to participate again next year, and I promise to be more diligent in my photographic efforts.
Many thanks, Readers for making blogging so much fun. Be back mid-June!

Posted at 07:35h, 05 JuneThank you, Mrs. K! Relaxed is the operative word here – sometimes we don’t realize how much we need a vacation until we’re on one 🙂

Posted at 02:31h, 05 JuneLoved seeing you ‘in action’! I enjoy seeing MMM pics across the blogosphere, but I confess to wussing out on the whole process specifically due to the need to take daily pics….
goodbyevalentino
Posted at 07:48h, 05 JuneThanks, Cherry Pix! Taking daily pics got the best of me, but I really enjoyed wearing my me made clothes everyday. It provided me with a thorough assessment of which ones work best and what is missing from my me-made wardrobe. 🙂

Posted at 09:55h, 05 JuneBeautifully done video! I laughed out loud at your soundtrack, Whitney Houston’s “I’m Every Woman.” So fitting for a sewing champion enjoying her beautiful creations. And I would have bet $10,000 that the color of your swimsuit would be — orange! Thanks for the wonderful morning cheer-up.

Posted at 18:19h, 06 JuneThe only thing better than seeing photos of your gorgeous work is seeing videos of it. That was such a great idea. Even if I had enough handmade items to carry me through the month I think the daily photos would do me in. Enjoy your vacation!
goodbyevalentino

Joy
Posted at 22:05h, 06 JuneI loved the video! I make a lot of them for my blog even though they are short and goofy. I hope you will make a lot more! Love the one where you are throwing money — I think — in the air. What was that about?
Hugs, Joy
goodbyevalentino
Posted at 06:52h, 07 JuneMany thanks, Joy! I won the jackpot from Left-Center-Right during my girls’ weekend. One of the women stuffed all of the money in my dress …… the video camera was running. Silly fun 🙂

Posted at 22:08h, 06 JuneOh! Forgot to tell you. I love my tripod. Does your camera have a 10 second delay button on it. I use it on my camera all the time. There is never anyone around to take a picture of me, so I had to figure something out. I bought a cheap tripod at Wal-mart (you may not have one), and it works just fine.
Hugs, Joy
goodbyevalentino
Posted at 06:53h, 07 JuneThere’s nothing wrong with my tripod…… just the photographer 🙂

Posted at 06:18h, 12 JuneWhat a great way to show your creations …. I think, though, my favourite pic is the one of you relaxing LOL. As it is cold here I look forward to summer and swim suits and lounging.
goodbyevalentino
Posted at 07:32h, 12 JuneHa ha ha! I could have “relaxed” under the umbrella for a month. 🙂 🙂
