Happy Valentine's Day, Dear Readers! My hometown of Spartanburg, SC has gone all out putting hearts on the lampposts and red dye in the fountain :) I finished my new shirt just in time for the big day. My goodness ~ thank you, Readers, for solving the pajamas vs. shirt dilemma! You overwhelmingly suggested that I stay true to my original intention, and I am taking your advice. It was time to make a shirt – not a top, not a tunic but a shirt. My Pattern Review friends are making shirts by the dozens while I’ve been acting as the cheerleader. While I’ve always appreciated the flexibility found in sewing my clothes, the precision of shirt-making kept my happy observer status in tact.
