Julie and I are making tunics for a traveling trunk show once The Tunic Bible is released. My thought was to make a fitted eyelet tunic dress to contrast the recently made black eyelet tunic in the classic relaxed fit illustrating the versatility of the pattern.

Using the same pattern as my last dress, McCalls 2401, I went for a different look by sewing the pattern in an embroidered seersucker rather than silk :)
Additionally, I made a piping from red and white shirting for the arms and neckline.
This time I lined the dress with a lightweight batiste, perfect for hot humid weather.
Maybe I look like I belong in Maine eating seafood rather than South Carolina eating bar-b-que,
